My live page doesn't match the editor
Six checks, in order, for when your changes look right in the builder but not on your website.
Work down this list. Most people are fixed by step 1 or 2.
- Look in a private window. Your browser may be showing a saved copy. Open the page in a private (incognito) window, or hard refresh with Shift + reload.
- Make sure it saved. In the builder, click Save (disk icon, top right) and wait a moment before leaving the page. If you clicked Cancel on the "Autosaving" note, autosave is paused until you save.
- Make sure it's published. Go to Sites > the website's ⋯ > Settings > Pages and check the page card. If it says Draft, hover the card, click Edit, and click Publish.
- Make sure you edited the right page. The page name shows next to Autosave on at the top left of the builder. Use that menu to switch pages. In a funnel, check you opened the right step.
- Shared sections change everywhere. If you click an element and the right panel says it "belongs to a linked section", editing it changes it on every page that uses that section. That's expected.
- Check the domain. On your website's Domain tab, your domain should be attached. If it says No Domain Connected, see Connect your website domain.
Still not right?
Open the More menu (three dots) > Version History to see what was saved and when. If the saved version is right and the live page still isn't, send us a request from Help & Support with the page address and a screenshot of each.
