Create your website from a template or a blank page

Last reviewed October 21, 2026

Pick a website or a funnel, start from a template, and add the pages your practice needs.

When you're done, you'll have a website in Sites with a home page and the other pages you need, ready to edit and publish.

Before you start

  • Time: 20 minutes to set up the pages. Writing and design take longer.
  • You'll need: a rough list of pages (for example Home, About, Work With Me, Contact) and your logo and photos.
  • Good to know: nothing you build is public until you publish it, so you can explore freely.

Website or funnel?

Both use the same page builder. The difference is how visitors move through them.

If you want... Build a
A home page, about page, services, blog and contact page with a menu Website
One path to one action, like a free guide sign-up or a course sale Funnel (see Build a funnel)
A main site plus a launch or a lead magnet Both. Your website for your practice, a funnel for the campaign

Websites count pages. Funnels count steps. Most coaches start with a website and add funnels later.

Step 1: Browse templates

  1. In the sidebar, click Sites. You'll see the tabs Websites, Funnels, Templates, Blog and Activity Log.
  2. Click Templates, then choose Websites at the top.
  3. Search with Search by name, category, or tag, or click a category chip.
  4. Hover over a card you like and click Preview.
  5. In the preview, click each page in the Pages row, and use the desktop, tablet and mobile buttons at the top right to check the layout on a phone.
  6. Click Use This Template to start from it, or Cancel to keep looking.

Pick a template for its layout, not its words

You'll replace every word and photo. Choose the one whose structure fits your practice (a strong home page, a clear services page), even if it was made for another industry.

Step 2: Or start another way

  1. Go to Sites > Websites and click Create Website.
  2. Choose one of three starts:
    • Start from Blank: an empty site you build section by section.
    • Create with AI: describe your practice and AI drafts the pages for you.
    • Start from Template: opens the template gallery from Step 1.
  3. Follow the prompts to name your website.

AI features use your workspace's AI credits. If Create with AI fails, start from a template instead and let us know.

Step 3: Add and name your pages

  1. Open your website: go to Sites, then on the website's card click ⋯ > Settings.
  2. On the Pages tab, click Add New Page for each page you need. A new, empty website shows No pages yet and a Create Page button.
  3. To rename a page or change its address, open the page card's More actions menu and choose Page Settings. Set the title and the slug (the part after your domain, like about).
  4. The page with the Home badge is the one visitors see at your main address.

Step 4: Fill in your pages

Open each page and replace the template content with your own. The builder is covered in Find your way around the page builder. Keep each page a Draft until it's ready.

When a page is ready, publish it. Read Edit and publish a page without taking it offline first, so you know the one button to leave alone.

Check it worked

  • Your website shows as a card on Sites > Websites.
  • Its Pages tab lists every page you planned, with Draft or Published on each card.

If something's off

  • You can't find Create Website: make sure you're on the Websites tab, not Funnels.
  • The layout looks cramped on a phone: check mobile view in the builder. See Find your way around the page builder.
  • You want your own domain: see Connect your website domain. Publish your home page first.
  • You built a funnel but wanted a site with a menu: funnels don't have a site menu. Create a website and copy your sections across with saved sections.
