Find your way around Payments

Last reviewed October 21, 2026

What each Payments tab is for, which ones a coaching practice actually uses, and how to look up a single payment.

Payments is where you set up what you sell, send invoices, and see every payment that comes in. Once you know which tab does what, most money questions take a minute to answer.

Before you start

If you see a red Workspace Stripe Not Configured banner on the Payments pages, Stripe isn't connected for this workspace yet. You can build drafts, but nobody can pay you until it is.

The tabs

Go to Payments in the sidebar. The tabs use short names:

Tab What it's for
Txns Every payment, refund and failed charge. Start here when someone asks "did my payment go through?"
Analytics Revenue charts.
Estimates (Beta) Quotes your client can accept, then turn into an invoice. See Send an estimate.
Invoices Bills you send to a client. See Send an invoice.
Subs Recurring payments, like a monthly coaching package. See Set up recurring billing.
Products Everything you sell, with its price. See Add a product to sell.
Links Payment links you can text or email. See Share a payment link.
Coupons Discount codes. See Create a discount code.
Methods Offline options such as bank transfer or check. See Accept offline payments.
Orders Purchases from checkouts, with their payment status. See Review orders and abandoned checkouts.
Abandoned Checkouts someone started and didn't finish.
Docs Contracts and proposals to sign. See Send a contract or proposal.
Settings Payment routing, receipts, taxes and notifications. See Turn on automatic receipts.

Sync All at the top of Payments shows when Flourivate last pulled data from Stripe ("Never synced" if it hasn't yet).

Look up one payment

  1. Go to Payments > Txns.
  2. Read the cards at the top: Total Transactions, Total Revenue, Refunds, Pending and Chargebacks.
  3. In Search by ID, customer, type the client's name or the payment ID. Or narrow the list with All Status, All Gateways and All Types.
  4. Click the payment. Transaction Details opens with the amount, status, gateway, Transaction ID, Type, Customer, Email and Date. It's read-only. Click Close when you're done.

The status filter offers Succeeded, Pending, Failed, Refunded, Canceled and Disputed.

Match a payment to Stripe

Copy the ID from the Transaction column (there's a copy icon) and paste it into Stripe's search. It's the fastest way to see the same payment on both sides.

Which payment services work

Stripe is what we set up and support for Flourivate practices. The integrations screen (Settings > Integrations > Payments) also lists PayPal and Paddle, and shows Square, Authorize.Net and Adyen as Coming soon with no date. QuickBooks appears there too, but it's an accounting connection, not a way to take payments, and it's also coming soon. If you want to use anything other than Stripe, talk to us first.

Check it worked

  • A recent test or real payment shows in Txns with status Succeeded.
  • Clicking it shows the client's name and email in Transaction Details.

If something's off

  • A payment shows in Stripe but not in Txns: click Sync All at the top of Payments, then refresh. If it's still missing, see Payment went through but nothing happened.
  • You can't see Payments in the sidebar: your user role may not include it. Ask the workspace owner, or send us a request.
  • The red Stripe banner won't go away: reconnect your keys in Connect Stripe, live and test mode.
