Add a product to sell

Create a product with its price so you can use it in checkouts, payment links, invoices and course sales.

A product is anything you sell: a coaching package, a course, a workshop seat, a monthly membership. Create it once and you can reuse it in checkout forms, payment links and invoices.

Before you start

• Time: 5 minutes per product.
• Have ready: the product name, a one-line description, the price, and whether it's paid once or every month.
• Stripe connected. See Connect Stripe, live and test mode.

Steps

1. Go to Payments > Products.
2. Click New Product. The Create Product dialog opens.

3. Fill in the details:

   Field	What to enter
   Product Name	What clients will see, for example "Aligned Leader Course". Required.
   Description	One or two sentences about what they get.
   SKU	A short code you'll recognize, for example ALC-001. Optional, but it makes the product easy to find later in pickers.
   Category	Optional, for your own sorting, for example "Courses" or "Packages".
   Price	The price in US dollars. Required.
   Billing Type	One-time for a single payment, or Recurring for a subscription.
   Stock Quantity	Leave it empty for unlimited. Fill it in only if seats are limited.
   Status	Leave it on (Active) so the product can be sold.
   Sync to Stripe	Keeps a matching product in your Stripe account. Leave it on unless we've told you otherwise.

4. Click Create Product. It stays greyed out until Product Name and Price are filled in.

The product appears under Your Products as a card. Badges on the card show its billing (Recurring), its status (Active), and Local Only if it exists only in Flourivate and not in Stripe.

Change or retire a product

• To change a product, click Edit on its card.
• To stop selling it without deleting it, edit it and turn Status off. Old orders and reports keep their history.

Bring in products you already have

• Sync from Stripe pulls in products you already created in Stripe. It's only clickable when Stripe is connected.
• Import Products brings products in from a file.

Check it worked

• The card shows under Your Products with the right price and Active.
• Total Products and Active Products at the top went up by one.

If something's off

• Create Product is greyed out: fill in Product Name and Price.
• Sync from Stripe is greyed out: Stripe isn't connected for this workspace. See Connect Stripe, live and test mode.
• A product won't sell: check its Status is on and, if you set a Stock Quantity, that there's stock left.
• You're selling a course: the product is step one. Follow Sell a course for the rest.
