Sell a package of sessions

Last reviewed October 21, 2026

Offer a bundle like "6 sessions" or "buy 5, get 1 free" on a session's booking page, with its own price and expiry.

A package lets a client commit to a series of sessions in one purchase. When you're done, the package shows on that session's booking page with its price, and you'll have tested it before anyone buys.

Before you start

  • Time: 10 minutes to set up, plus a test purchase.
  • You need: Stripe connected and paid booking working. See Take payment when clients book.
  • Decide: how many sessions, any bonus sessions, the total price, and how long clients have to use them.
  • Write down your policy for refunds and unused sessions before you sell. Flourivate tracks the package, not your terms.

Steps

  1. Go to Calendar > Services and click Edit on the session the package is for.
  2. Open the Packages tab. It reads Service Packages.
  3. Click Add Package (or Create First Package if it's your first).
  4. Fill in:
    • Package Name (required): what clients see, for example "Six-Session Coaching Series".
    • Description: what's included and who it's for.
    • Sessions Included (required): the number of paid sessions.
    • Bonus Sessions (Free): extra sessions on top, if any.
    • Package Price (USD) (required): the total for the bundle.
    • Validity (Days): how long the sessions can be used. Leave it empty for no expiry.
    • Max Purchases: limit how many can be sold, for example for a founding-client offer.
    • Highlight Label: a short badge such as "Best value".
    • Active: on, so clients can buy it.
  5. Click Create Package.

Price it so the math is easy

Clients compare the package to single sessions. If one session is $150, six for $810 (or five plus one bonus for $750) is clear at a glance.

Test it before you sell

  1. Add a second package on the same session called "Test", with Sessions Included at 2, Package Price (USD) at 1 and Max Purchases at 1.
  2. Open the booking link in a private window and buy the test package with your own email and a real card, the way a client would.
  3. Check that the order shows in Payments and the confirmation email arrives.
  4. Book a session with the package, then a second one. Check that each booking uses one of the package's sessions and shows as confirmed in Calendar > Appointments.
  5. Refund the $1 in Stripe, cancel the test appointments, and turn the test package's Active switch off.

Change or stop a package

Open the Packages tab again to edit it. To stop selling it without removing it, turn Active off and save. Test how an edit affects clients who already bought before you change a package that's live.

Check it worked

  • The package shows on the session's booking page with its name, price and highlight label.
  • After a test purchase, the client's remaining sessions count down as they book.

If something's off

  • The package doesn't show on the booking page: check Active is on and that you added it to the right session type.
  • The session count looks wrong: check whether a session was already booked with it, or the client bought a different package.
  • A client can't use their package: check the expiry (Validity (Days)) and that they're booking the session the package belongs to.
  • Payment went through but nothing happened: see Payment went through but nothing happened.
