Organize session types into groups
Group related session types, like "Discovery calls" or "Client sessions", and pause a session without deleting it.
Once you offer more than a few kinds of sessions, groups keep them tidy. Putting a session type in a group doesn't change or delete it, and its booking link stays the same.
Before you start
- Time: 5 minutes.
- You need: two or more session types. See Create a session type.
- Pick names that match how you think about your work, for example "Free calls", "1:1 coaching", "Workshops".
Steps
- Go to Calendar > Groups. With none yet, it says "No groups yet".
- Click New Group (or Create Your First Group).
- Enter a Group Name. Description (optional) is just for you.
- Click Create Group. It stays greyed out until the group has a name.
- Open the group and add the session types that belong in it.
To rename a group, edit it. Deleting a group only ungroups its session types. It never deletes them.
Pause a session type instead of deleting it
On Calendar > Services, each session card has Deactivate and a red bin icon.
| Button | What it does | Use it when |
|---|---|---|
| Deactivate | Stops new bookings. Keeps the session, its settings and its history. | You're taking a break from an offer, or it's seasonal. |
| Red bin (delete) | Removes the session type for good. | You'll never offer it again, and you're sure. |
Check your website before you pause a session
If the booking form is embedded on a page, visitors will find it no longer works. Update or hide that page first.
Check it worked
- The group shows on the Groups tab with the session types you added.
- A deactivated session card no longer shows Active, and its booking link stops offering times.
If something's off
- Create Group is greyed out: add a Group Name.
- A session type disappeared from a group: check it wasn't removed or deleted on Services. Deleting a group never deletes sessions.
- Clients can still book a paused session: reload Services and check the card no longer says Active.
