Merge or sign a PDF
Combine several PDFs into one file, or add your signature to a PDF, without a separate app.
PDF Tools handles two everyday jobs: putting several PDFs together (say, your welcome letter, agreement and intake questions into one client packet) and signing a PDF yourself.
Before you start
- Time: 5 minutes.
- Have ready: the PDFs on your computer. You can add up to 20 files, 50 MB each.
Merge PDFs into one
- In the sidebar, under CRM, click PDF Tools.
- Make sure the Merge PDFs card is selected ("Combine multiple PDFs into one document").
- Drag your files into Drag & Drop PDF files here, or click Choose Files.
- Put the files in the order you want the pages to appear. Check Merge Summary before you continue.
- Merge the files and download the result.
- Open the downloaded file and flip through every page.
Sign a PDF
- In PDF Tools, click the Sign PDF card ("Add your signature to a PDF document").
- Add the PDF you want to sign.
- Add your signature where it belongs, then download the signed copy.
This is for your own signature
Sign PDF is for adding your own signature. If you need a client to sign an agreement, see Send a contract or proposal for signature.
Check it worked
- The downloaded file opens, has every page in the right order, and (for signing) shows your signature in the right spot.
If something's off
- A file won't add. Check it's a real PDF under 50 MB, and that you have 20 files or fewer.
- The pages are in the wrong order. Start again and arrange the files before merging.
- A file is too big. Re-export it from the original app at a smaller size, or remove large images.
- You don't see PDF Tools. Your user may not have access. Ask us.
Name files clearly
Something like welcome-packet-2026.pdf beats document-final-2.pdf, especially when you attach it to an email or upload it to a course.
