Plan and schedule social posts

Last checked October 21, 2026

Connect your Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn accounts and write, schedule and track posts from one place.

Batch your posts in one sitting and let Flourivate publish them through the week. When you're done, you'll have a post scheduled to one or more of your accounts.

Before you start

  • Time: 10 minutes to connect, then a few minutes per post.
  • You need: admin access to the accounts you want to post to, for example the Facebook Page for your practice and an Instagram Business or Creator account linked to it.

Step 1: Connect your accounts

  1. In the sidebar, under MARKETING, click Social. The Planner tab opens first.
  2. Under Connected Publishing Accounts, click Manage Connections and follow the sign-in for each network.
  3. Back on Planner, each account should have its own card showing Connected and Connection ready.

You can also check accounts on the Settings tab, where each one is listed under Connected Accounts with a Connected badge and Configure.

Instagram connects through Facebook

Flourivate publishes to Instagram through the Facebook Page it's linked to. If Instagram won't connect, check in the Instagram app that it's a professional (Business or Creator) account linked to your Page.

Step 2: Write and schedule a post

  1. Click Create Post at the top right. The Create Social Media Post window opens with the tabs Compose, Customize, Preview and Advanced.
  2. Tick the platforms to post to. Any that show Not Connected need connecting first.
  3. Write the post in Content. Add hashtags or a link if you want.
  4. Add an image or video with Upload Media, or pick one you've used before from Media Storage.
  5. Check Preview to see how it looks on each network. Use Customize if you want different wording for one platform.
  6. Set Schedule (optional) to the date and time you want it to go out.
  7. Click Schedule Post. (Once you pick a time in Schedule, the Save Draft button changes to Schedule Post.) To post right away instead, leave Schedule empty and click Publish Now. Then check the queue (Step 3) to confirm it shows the date you picked.

Publish Now posts right away

Publish Now sends the post to your live accounts immediately. If you're only looking around, click Cancel.

Step 3: Keep track of what's queued

  • On Planner, scroll to Recent publishing queue. Each post shows Post, Media, Status, Approval, Platforms and Date.
  • Filter the list with Search content..., All statuses and the platform chips (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Tiktok).
  • The Content tab shows every post as a card, newest first, with its status (such as draft or failed).

Get a heads-up when posts go out

On the Settings tab, under Notifications, click Enable next to Post Published and New Comments.

Check it worked

  • Your post shows in Recent publishing queue with the right date and platforms.
  • After the scheduled time, it appears on your page and its status changes.

If something's off

  • A platform shows Not Connected. Connect it with Manage Connections, then reopen Create Post.
  • A post shows failed. Check the account card still says Connection ready. Facebook connections expire now and then, especially after a password change. Reconnect, then create the post again.
  • It didn't publish at the exact minute. Scheduled posts go out in the background and can take a few minutes.
  • You can't find a post. Clear the search and set the status filter to all.
  • Clicking a card on the Content tab does nothing. Use Recent publishing queue on Planner to check a post.
