How your clients sign in

Last checked October 20, 2026

What your clients see when they sign in to your portal, and what to tell them if they get stuck.

Your clients sign in at your portal address, for example community.yourpractice.com. Copy it from Learning > Manage > Portal > Client Portal URL.

Two ways to sign in

  • Email and password. The password they set when they accepted your invite.
  • Use email link instead. They type their email, and a one-time sign-in link arrives in their inbox. Great for clients who never remember passwords, and for buyers who purchased a course (they get access by email link, not a password).

Copy you can send clients

To get to your course, go to [your portal address] and sign in with the email you used to join. If you'd rather not use a password, click Use email link instead and we'll email you a sign-in link. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive in a couple of minutes.

If a client is stuck

They say What to do
"I never got the invite." Check the spelling of their email, then send the invite again from Learning > Manage > Portal > Invite to Portal. Ask them to check spam.
"I forgot my password." On the sign-in page, click Forgot password?, or use Use email link instead.
"The email link didn't come." Make sure they've accepted an invite or bought a course first. The link only goes to existing members. Then check spam.
"I'm in, but my course isn't there." Make sure the course is published and that you ticked it on their invite. Send a new invite with the course ticked.
"I can't change my name or photo." That's a known issue we're getting fixed. Their name still shows correctly on posts.

In Learning > Manage > Portal, under Quick Actions, click Send Magic Link and enter the client's email. They get the same one-time link.
