Read your practice's big picture
Use the Executive, Growth, Top Entities and Anomalies tabs for a monthly look at how your practice is growing and what's working best.
Once a month, these four tabs give you the big picture in about ten minutes: how many people you're reaching, what's growing, what's working best, and anything out of the ordinary.
Before you start
- Time: 10 minutes, once a month.
- Where: Analytics. Executive opens first.
- Tip: set the date range to Last month before you start, and leave it there as you move between tabs.
Step 1: Executive
- Open Analytics. You're on Executive.
- Read the first row: Total Contacts, Total Deals, Total Deal Value and Win Rate.
- Read the second row: Daily Active Users, Weekly Active Users and Monthly Active Users (people on your team using the workspace), and Error Rate.
- Look at Top Features: Last 30 Days to see which parts of Flourivate get used most, like email, contacts and workflows.
Error Rate shows errors out of total events. If it climbs, something may be failing in an automation. Check Workflows for errors, or send us a request.
Step 2: Growth
- Click Growth.
- Read Monthly Growth: one line for Contacts and one for Deals. Hover over a month for its numbers.
Pick a range that covers several months (Last 90 days or This year) so there's a trend to see.
Step 3: Top Entities
- Click Top Entities (scroll the tab row).
- See your best performers in four lists: Top Pages, Top Forms, Top Workflows and Top Emails.
Use it to decide where to spend your effort. If one form brings in most of your leads, put it on more pages.
Step 4: Anomalies
- Click Anomalies.
- Detected Anomalies lists unusual changes, with the Date, Metric, Direction (a spike or a drop), Value, Baseline Avg and Deviation.
- Rage Click Hotspots and Dead Click Hotspots show where visitors clicked repeatedly in frustration, or clicked on something that isn't a link.
A spike in form submissions after a podcast appearance is good news. A sudden drop in page views may mean a page was unpublished. Check it.
Check it worked
- Note three numbers each month (contacts, deals won, top form submissions) and compare them with last month's.
If something's off
- Active Users is zero or low: these count your team using the workspace, not your clients.
- Growth shows one dot: your range covers only one month. Widen it.
- A drop in page views: open your site in a private window. If you see "page not found", the page may have been unpublished. See Edit and publish a page without taking it offline.
- Top lists say No data for this period: nothing in that list had activity in your range.
